Q: Are your retreats still happening?
A: Yes! Our retreats are still happening! We just wrapped up hosting our 2023 Mexico retreat, and we are in the planning stages of our 2024 retreats. We will be hosting one retreat in our home of the North Shore, Oahu in April 2024, and one in our original location of La Saladita, Mexico sometime later in the year. Stay tuned for more details, dates, and how to sign up. For now, you should join the waitlist!
General faq
Q: I have to change my reservation, what is your refund policy?
A: We’re so sorry to hear that you have to change your plans but understand that life happens. Find our return policy below, and let us know asap if you think you have to cancel so there is ample time to fill the spot with another guest!
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- If you cancel your booking within 60 days of departure, the penalty is 100% of the trip price (ie non-refundable)
- If you cancel your booking more than 60 days prior to departure and less than 4 months out, the penalty is 50% of the trip price. After 4 months out, you will be refunded 50% of your trip price if you cancel your reservation.
Q: Should I bring my own board?
A: The price to rent a board for the week is approximately $100 USD, nearly equivalent to the luggage fee for bringing a surfboard of your own. The boards they have for rent are great and you can swap out anytime to try a different board.
Q: How much does a massage cost?
A: Pricing varies, but in Mexico you can expect to pay around $60 USD for an hour massage (depending on the type) at the retreat house.
Q: What is the closest airport to fly into?
A: For our Hawaii retreat, you will fly into HNL. For our Mexico retreat, you will fly into Zihuatanejo (ZIH). Please make sure to arrive no later than 3pm on the arrival day.
Q: Do I have to be good a surfing to join your retreats? No! You don’t even need to surf! We have other activities for you to do while the rest of the crew is surfing, including beach time, massage, stand up paddle boarding, etc.
Q: What does a payment plan look like?
A: If the retreat is more than 3 months out and you’d like to space out your payment by increments, we can do that. Just let us know when booking!
