MEXICO SURF & YOGA RETREAT
LA SALADITA, MEXICO
BUENA Vida = “The Good Life”
Immerse yourself in an all inclusive yoga, surf, and wellness retreat in our original retreat location of the world-class longboard surf town of La Saladita, Mexico. This retreat is geared towards women who want to unwind for a week of yoga in Mexico, and either enjoy beach time, try surfing for the first time, or sharpen their surfing skills (complete beginners through advanced levels are all welcome).
“It was the perfect blend of retreat and vacation. Yoga by day and night, surf by day and night, and the rest is up to you. It was the ideal setting, remote enough to disconnect and enjoy getting to know and learn from a strong, powerful and inspiring group of like-minded women.”

ABOUT THE HOUSE (MEXICO)
Casa Creando Olas sits right on the beautiful deserted beach of La Saladita, Mexico, a hidden gem and remote surfing town about 45 minutes northwest of Zihuatanejo. The house takes the phrase 'open concept' to a new level — it is completely open to the natural surroundings so you are immersed in nature and can enjoy beach living to the fullest.
The house sleeps 12 comfortably. The rooms represent beautiful simplicity so your mind can rest as well as your body will on this retreat. The home was constructed using local materials — the oversized palapa that covers the entire house is truly a work of art and craftsmanship. The front doors are reclaimed from a demolished 1600’s church in a local town in the mountains. Every latch, handle and hinge throughout the house was made by a third-generation blacksmith using his grandfather’s molds.
About the waves:
The region is known as the left-handed Mexican Malibu for its pristine coastline and perfect waves. We come to this town for the wave, so make sure to get out in the ocean with us to enjoy it!

WHAT TO EXPECT
Disconnect
Two hours a week spent outdoors in nature is linked with better health. Choose to spend your retreat outside in a gorgeous, open-concept home that is one with nature. Give yourself permission to turn off your notifications and truly be present.
Connect
With your body and mind. Strengthen your physical self with daily yoga, meditation, surfing, and exploration, opt for a relaxing massage or all of the above. Feed your body with nourishing local, fresh food. Build healthy rituals that you continue for life. Connect with women from different backgrounds who share similar intentions.
Grow
”True growth comes from proper rest, more learning, building new habits, consistent honesty, letting go of old stories, saying no to old patterns, ready to act in new ways, believing you can change and saying yes to supportive people.” - Yung Pueblo
Play
We take self-care and being present seriously, but that doesn’t mean we don’t have fun while doing it. This is the good stuff — running in the ocean naked, dancing at night, laughing with new friends, letting your inner weirdo shine. Buena vida retreat isn’t your typical yoga retreat. This is a judgement-free zone. Come play with us!
